Rawai Beach is one of the oldest beaches on Phuket Island. Before roads were made to access the now popular West coast, the Thais would board long tail boats from this beach to visit the many islands of Phang Nga and the neighboring beaches. Rawai Beach is not a small beach but isn’t usually crowded. At high tide, the water gives off a beautiful shades of green and blue. It’s a sandy beach but not superior for swimming as a result of a shallow rocky seabed. However, there’s some outstanding snorkeling just past the seabed for those willing to work for it.

Though you may be unable to swim near the beach, there’s still plenty to do. The restaurants that line the beach have pretty good food. A number of seafood restaurants there provide delicious food. Actually, from our experience the normal Thai food stalls and restaurants have ideal food at great prices. If you prefer to party, take pleasure in the nightlife, night in and night out, it’s a superior place to go.

Muay Thai has grown very popular over the past ten years or so and Rawai has a good number of training camps. The workout is an enjoyable approach to get fit and slim down. Rawai also has a number of temples and monks can be seen walking early in the mornings giving prayers. Rawai is among one of the most diverse and largest foreign populations on the island. Rawai beach is not the most famed beach but still a fantastic place to see. It’s truly spectacular.

Note: When buying Phuket property, knowledge of title deeds and land ownership laws is fundamental. Land titles are the most common evidence to prove land ownership, rights of possession and other interests of land.  The most secure type of land title in Thailand is called “Chanote” which means the land has been accurately surveyed using a global positioning system (GPS) to set the area and boundaries of the land and plot them against the national land survey grid.

Phuket has a government water supply network with direct metered supply, however it does not cover the entire island. So there are generally three main possibilities for water supply; governement metered water supply, deep well water and delivered by water truck. Being connected directly to the government water network is generally the optimum solution, which means a direct metered supply to your property at "government rates", which is between 10 baht and 22 baht per unit (1,000 litres), depending on your area.
The most important utility - and potentially the most costly in terms of new installations - is electricity. All other things being equal, land prices tend to be higher if there is an existing electricity supply, or electric has been brought to the boundary of the land. The next thing to check is whether the Phuket land for sale has single-phase or three-phase electricity. Important Tip: Three-phase electricity is superior. Three-phase is more efficient for high loading, like running multiple air-conditioners together with swimming pool systems.
